A Bit of Background
Who We Are
My name is Donna Jones, and I LOVE animals. I founded Oldies But Goodies Senior Rescue in 2019, but have been rescuing and fostering dogs for over 20 years! I am lucky enough to have an amazing group of volunteers that have the same goal in life...to save lives! Here at Oldies But Goodies Rescue, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. Loving and caring for dogs is my reason for being on this planet. As the founder of Oldies But Goodies Rescue I make it my priority to bring peace and love to a hurting dog. Oldies But Goodies Rescue prioritizes senior, medical & high risk dogs. Senior because they are forgotten and dumped for a newer and younger model, medical because most will not take in a dog that has high expenses. When we say “high risk dogs” we are referring to dogs set for euthanasia, high risk of being dumped in the streets or used as bait, dogs not having a mother, etc. These forgotten, unloved, or mistreated animals deserve a second chance, and we are here to make sure they get it! Oldies But Goodies is also a platform for anyone who has a dog in need of help!

With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with the challenge of the never ending demand to save dogs needing, love, rehabilitation, and rehoming. Advocacy is something that we take very seriously, and our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact. We know that dogs are not able to speak for themselves, so we use our voice to ensure their happiness. Contact us to learn more about our commitment to this cause.
Support
At Oldies But Goodies Rescue, we are dedicated to the animals we take in. Support is by no means an easy feat, but with determination and dedication we facilitate progress in this area. We travel near and far to acquire dogs that are injured or suffering. When a person or facility is unable to give these poor babies what they need to survive, we step in and bring them into our care. We rehabilitate these animals, and once they are healed and happy we find them their forever home.
Provide A Platform
With this initiative, our goal is to promote great opportunities for those in need. With access to the right resources, people can save a life and be a part of ending the suffering of many. We provide links to animals in other shelters needing a forever home, we advocate for funding to save animals needing emergency surgery, and we bring light to those who have run out of time. When a dog is set to be euthanized we display him on a resource available to urgently try and find a home.
